Spartia is a quaint, picturesque village lodged between the folds of gently rolling, verdant hills that makes up the Liakas Peninsula. Blessed with charm, character and charisma the village has a couple of of tavernas, a bakery and small shop or two. The surrounding area is also well known for many excellent, way side restaurants as well as beaches like Trapezaki, St.Thomas and Spartia as well as being close to Kefalonia’s capital city of Argostoli.

As you leave the village on the beach road, a rough, narrow farm track leads you through the cork oak and olive groves to the splendid villa Minos.
