Trapezaki

Draped across the lower slopes of Mount Ainos and sheltered from the northern winds, Trapezaki is a mainly residential area, situated between Spartia and Lourdas on Kefalonia’s south coast.

The area offers a relaxing mix of tranquillity, stunning seas views of the island of Zante shimmering on the horizon, a gorgeous, quiet sandy beach and a sprinkling of delightful, friendly tavernas. Along the coastline to the south-west is St. Thomas’ beach (“Agios Thomas”) and this too is a sandy beach, split across two rocky coves, with a couple of beachside tavernas. Nearby is the pretty village of Pesada, home to the Divino winery, where visits and tasting are available.

Both Trapezaki and St. Thomas are only a short drive from the small resort of Lourdas and centrally located making Argostoli very accessible.
