Enjoying a sheltered location, with Mount Ainos behind it, Lourdas hugs the coastline to the east of Trapezaki and enjoys its location on one of the longest stretches of beach on Kefalonia.

Originally a quiet fishing village, Lourdas has retained much of its charm, with a number of family run hotels and apartments and private villas now all nestling amongst the lush foliage that grace the steep hillside, shelving all the way down to a good selection of local tavernas that lie alongside a magnificent sand and shingle beach. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire and the length of the beach ensures room for all, even in the peak season.

Lourdas is one of the most popular family destinations with kilometers of beautiful beaches and being centrally located it attracts one of the highest rate of repeat visitors.
