Villa Laura is a superbly designed modern stone cottage that enjoys the tranquility of a rural setting just outside the Kefalonian resort of Skala, yet commands spectacular panoramic sea views over to surrounding Greek Islands.

Set on the gentle lower slopes between the original village of Old Skala and the resort of Skala in a quiet enclave with just a handful of other private houses, Laura benefits from a slightly elevated position, which enhances its views and adds to its seclusion. Built to resemble the ancient Greek stone cottages that formed the old village, villa Laura is a tribute to modern architecture, in its ability to blend styles and materials to produce a harmonious home. Vaulted, exposed pine beamed ceilings create bright and airy rooms, whilst the use of stone, wrought iron and warm fabrics create a sense of comfort and well being.

The interior space is divided by split levels with a short flight of seven steps between the twin bedroom at entrance level and the open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen areas.
