The Trapezaki area enjoys open panoramic views over the Ionian Sea towards the Greek island of Zante to the east and to a distant point westward across the bay, marked by the Liakas peninsula. Set on the lower slopes of Mount Aenos, just bordering on Lourdas, its better known neighbour, this mainly residential area of Kefalonia has a charm all of its own.

With a choice of three great beaches, Lourdas, Kanali and Trapezaki, all within a few kilometres; with many tavernas offering different styles of service and mouth-watering Greek cuisine – some, such as in Lourdas and Trapezaki being right on the beach and with a number of small shops and supermarkets nearby, the area is growing fast in popularity on Kefalonia.

Set in a tranquil spot, amidst open countryside, with fantastic views of the surrounding terrain, Kristola is one of our most spacious and luxurious two bedroom villas. As you arrive into the parking area, a formidable terrace, with spectacular panoramic views and a sparkling swimming pool with “acres” of space set the scene. On entering the double height, lounge, dining and kitchen area, first impressions are immediately enhanced by a number of attractive design features in the accommodation. Vaulted pine beamed ceilings and well placed windows and doors allow the sunshine and light to flood in with cool tiled floors throughout creating a sense of bright, comfortable living space. Wide patio doors form a seamless extension through to the shady veranda that runs the full width of the house and beyond to the view over the pool and to the Greek island of Zante on the horizon. Two beautifully appointed bedrooms, one up and one down, each with their own bathrooms and sea views complete a near perfect picture.
