Built in a contemporary style, contrasting ancient Greek stone facades with up to date furnishings and fittings, where every modern accommodation comfort blends seamlessly with rural tranquillity. Estiasi’s innovative design is somewhat reminiscent of a medieval castle with hexagonal turrets. As with all the villas in Old Skala, the concept of luxurious outdoor living is a key factor in the layout of villa Estiasi and a number of well placed windows and doors allow both easy access to these areas and ensure that those captivating views are not forgotten. Reached by a steep driveway, the challenge is more than compensated for by the expansive infinity-edged swimming pool, sparkling like a rare gemstone, surrounded by a wide sun terrace and a view of Kefalonia and surrounding Greek islands, normally reserved for those with wings !

Entrance to the villa brings you into an open-plan kitchen area which is set in between the dining and living area. Maintaining the castle theme, the dining area has a splendid, solid wood, round table, set in the middle of one of the hexagonal “turrets”. On the left, the other “turret” houses a smart, modern, lounge area with inviting sofas around a low coffee table and stone fireplace. Two sets of patio doors lead out to a shaded hexagonal shaped, pavilion, complete with a comfortable outdoor suite and “al fresco” dining area. Upstairs the bright, attractive bedrooms feature high, exposed pine beamed ceilings, en-suite bath or shower rooms and private balconies or a terrace with stunning sea views. Many of our guests find that two weeks in Estiasi is just not enough !
